Blessing of the Pets

On Friday, October 3rd we had our second annual Blessing of the Pets at St. Mary’s School. After a small presentation from our third grade (and an appearance from St. Francis of Assisi), Father Beaver blessed all of the many pets who arrived in the school cafeteria. We had dogs, cats, birds and hermit crabs. We also had many pets who were not able to attend in person but were represented by a photo. All of the visitors to our school were very well behaved!
